The 5A-rated Tianzhushan Scenic Area is offering a major exclusive benefit to residents of Anhui Province, Nanjing, Wuhan, and Nanchang. From January 1 to December 31, 2026, visitors can purchase one exclusive full-price promotional ticket and enjoy lifetime free admission thereafter.

1. Who is eligible and how can tickets be purchased?

1) Online purchase only

The following people may conveniently purchase tickets online:

1. Residents whose ID numbers begin with “34” (Anhui Province)

2. Residents whose ID numbers begin with “3201” (Nanjing)

3. Residents whose ID numbers begin with “4201” (Wuhan)

4. Residents whose ID numbers begin with “3601” (Nanchang)

Eligibility is based solely on the ID number prefix; household registration location is not restricted.

Adults and children pay the same price, and household registration location is not restricted as long as the ID number qualifies.

2) Offline purchase only

People who do not hold IDs issued in Anhui Province, Nanjing, Wuhan, or Nanchang, but who are officially registered, employed, or studying in Anhui Province, Nanjing, Wuhan, or Nanchang, may purchase the exclusive full-price promotional ticket after verification at any staffed ticket window at Chazhuang Visitor Center, Dalongwo Visitor Center, South Gate, Longtanhe Visitor Center, or other designated scenic area locations.

For household registration:
Present the original valid ID card and the original household registration booklet for one of the above cities.

For students:
Present the original valid ID card and any one of the following:

1. Original valid student ID card

2. Student status verification from CHSI, in paper or electronic form

For employment:
Present the original valid ID card and any one of the following:

1. Employment certificate stamped with the company seal

2. Social insurance payment record for the most recent three months, in paper or electronic form

Note: There is no unified format for the employment certificate; the employer’s standard format may be used.

2. How can lifetime free admission be obtained?

First admission:
Between January 1 and December 31, 2026, the visitor must first purchase the exclusive full-price promotional ticket according to the above method, and then personally enter the scenic area once by scanning the original valid ID card.

Lifetime benefit:
After the first successful entry by scanning the visitor’s original valid ID card, the visitor may enjoy lifetime free admission to Tianzhushan Scenic Area by scanning the same original valid ID card. This benefit includes Valley Flowing Spring Cultural Park, but does not include other secondary paid items or night tour programs.

Whether the visitor qualifies through ID number prefix or through household registration, employment, or study in Anhui Province, Nanjing, Wuhan, or Nanchang, the original valid ID card must be carried.

After online or offline ticket purchase, the only key for entry is scanning the visitor’s own original valid ID card.

For all future lifetime free entries, the only key for entry remains scanning the visitor’s own original valid ID card.

The visitor’s own original valid ID card is the pass for admission. Please be sure to carry it and keep it safe. The benefit can be used during holidays as well, though off-peak travel is recommended, and major holidays are subject to on-site visitor flow control.

3. Important notes

1. The “One-Time Ticket Purchase, Lifetime Free Admission” promotion is valid only for the real-name ticket holder and may not be transferred or lent to others. Any violation of the rules will result in cancellation of the preferential eligibility, and the visitor must pay the full price for any ticket already used.

2. Night tours, scenic area transportation, cableways, and other secondary paid items are not included in this promotional ticket and must be purchased separately.

3. This promotion does not offer different ticket categories such as standard adult, child, or senior tickets. All eligible visitors, regardless of age, must purchase the exclusive full-price promotional ticket at the same uniform full price. If a visitor qualifies for another preferential policy, there are two options: first, enter under the regular preferential policy without obtaining lifetime benefits; second, purchase this exclusive full-price promotional ticket to secure lifetime free admission in the future.

4. Visitors must carry the original valid ID card. Temporary IDs, electronic IDs, and other forms of identification are not accepted. If the original valid ID card cannot be presented on site, the visitor will be deemed to have automatically given up the lifetime free admission qualification, and it cannot be reissued later.

5. Visitors entering via the Longtanhe Cableway direction may drive directly to the site (navigation: Tianzhushan World Geopark Longtanhe Visitor Center) or transfer to the scenic area shuttle bus. There is no hiking entrance at the East Gate Longtanhe Cableway direction; visitors must take the cableway up the mountain before beginning their hike.

6. Interconnected shuttle bus transfer points are available among core scenic area nodes, including the Dalongwo Cableway direction, Longtanhe Cableway direction, Chazhuang Visitor Center, and the South Gate. Visitors may scan a code on site to purchase internal shuttle tickets.

7. Visitors are advised to enter through the gate selected at the time of ticket purchase for a smoother experience. However, if plans change, entry through any other gate in the scenic area is also permitted.
