In order to further optimize tourism services in Tianzhushan Scenic Area and enhance the visitor experience, the new East Route of Tianzhushan and the Longtanhe Cableway will officially open to the public on March 27, 2025.
The relevant information is announced as follows:
1. Operating hours
The operating hours of Longtanhe Visitor Center and the Longtanhe Cableway are 07:30–17:00 daily. Except for visitors who have already booked accommodation in the Main Peak Scenic Area for the same day, ticket sales will stop at 15:30 each afternoon.
2. Ticket reservation and visitor limits
1. Real-name reservation system: The scenic area implements an online real-name ticket reservation system. Visitors may make reservations in advance through channels such as the “One Mobile Phone Tour Qianshan” WeChat mini program and the official “Anhui Tianzhushan” platform. Qianshan residents may present their original ID cards at the service desk of Longtanhe Visitor Center, purchase 5-yuan insurance on site, and enter the park through convenient facial-recognition verification.
2. Visitor capacity limit: The maximum daily visitor capacity of Tianzhushan Scenic Area is 50,000 visits per day. Once this limit is reached, ticket sales will stop immediately, so visitors are advised to plan their trips in advance.
3. Transport services
1. Scenic area shuttle routes connect the eastern and western circular routes of the scenic area, creating a large loop sightseeing model of “enter from the east and exit from the west” or “enter from the west and exit from the east.” The one-way fare from Chazhuang to Longtanhe Visitor Center is 15 yuan per person per trip, and the one-way fare from Dalongwo to Longtanhe Visitor Center is 30 yuan per person per trip.
2. Self-driving visitors may navigate to “Tianzhushan Longtanhe (East Gate) Visitor Center” on Amap to reach the site.
3. High-speed rail passengers may take a Tianzhushan bus from the Tianzhushan Tourism Distribution Center at Qianshan Railway Station to Chazhuang Visitor Center at a one-way fare of 15 yuan per person per trip, and then transfer to another bus to Longtanhe Visitor Center at the same one-way fare of 15 yuan per person per trip.
4. Other independent travelers may take a scenic area bus from the entrance of the Tianzhushan Scenic Area Administrative Committee in downtown Qianshan to Chazhuang Visitor Center, with a fare of 15 yuan per person per trip.
4. Notes
Please travel in a civilized manner and enjoy your trip together. Visitors are requested to comply with all scenic area management regulations, follow the instructions of scenic area staff, protect the ecological environment, and strictly refrain from smoking. While hiking, please do not walk while viewing scenery or view scenery while walking, do not climb over railings, do not use unofficial touring routes, and do not enter areas that are not open to the public.
Visitors bringing pets must keep them on a leash, and large dogs are strictly prohibited from entering the park. Please give priority to elderly people, children, pregnant women, and other such groups, and bring waste bags to help maintain the cleanliness of the scenic area.
Tianzhushan features high-altitude granite landforms, and water resources on the mountaintop are limited. The scenic area provides free hot water in lower mountain areas such as Longtanhe Visitor Center. If needed, please collect water there in advance for backup use. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
During holidays and other peak travel periods, there may be queues for cableways and shuttle vehicles for both uphill and downhill travel.
